We have payment agreements with different types of insurance.
If your insurance is among those arranged with our clinics, it is likely that you do not have to pay anything. However, sometimes, depending on what you have contracted with your insurance, the latter may request the payment of the medical expenses and then reimburse them once you have returned to your place of residence. It is very important that you show your insurance documents to our reception before the first consultation together with your passport and flight ticket.
Once your insurance is contacted, we will need to receive a GOP payment guarantee from you, taking care of those expenses. If the GOP is not received 24 hours before your return trip, the patient must pay the bill.
III. Is my insurance always going to return my money?
That will depend on the medical insurance coverage that you have hired. For our part, we will always deliver all the necessary documentation so that any insurance can make the money back to the customer. The documentation in question is essentially the medical report and the invoice.
IV. What document do I get when I pay for medical expenses?
You will obtain a signed and sealed invoice where the general data of the patient, diagnosis, all the medical acts performed and the total cost are detailed. There is also the general information of the center where it has been attended.
In addition to the bill, you will receive a medical report where the general data of the patient, the reason for which you went to the doctor, the physical examination, laboratory tests, treatment and evolution of the disease, general data of the clinic. All this, signed and sealed by the doctor who attended him.
V. What document do I need to claim my money back from my insurance?
In order to claim the return of the money to the insurance, you will need a Medical Invoice and Report that will be delivered to you by our reception once the treatment is finished.
